April 2014 – Brett 3 School, Jardines de Apoyo Construction Update
The construction of the Brett 3 School in Jardines de Apoyo, Masaya is coming along very quickly. The new four classroom school is about 45% complete. Both classrooms will soon have the roofs on and then the windows and doors. With the classrooms well on their way to being complete, we are now starting to build the washrooms for this school.
Many members of the community have come together to help with the build progress. Even the teachers come out some weekends to pitch in. This school build would not be possible without the Brett Bentley Crawford Foundation and Building Walls of Wisdom. We are extremely thankful for their support.
This is going to be an amazing improvement to the tents and temporary structures that the students currently attend school in. Soon they will have a bright and new proper building with a solid roof over their heads and a floor beneath their feet. This will help them learn and encourage so many more kids to come to school.

Five of the amazingly dedicated teachers from the current school in Jardines de Apoyo came out on the weekend to help with the construction of the new school they will teach in.
Two of the classrooms at the new Brett 3 School already have the roof on!
