July 2018 – You’re invited to our ‘Caffeinated’ film fundraisers

Join us on August 9th and August 16th for two special screenings of ‘Caffeinated’, a documentary film about good coffee and the people who grow, harvest, roast, brew and drink it.

Equator Coffee Roasters is hosting these fun and educational events at their Almonte and Westboro cafe locations, with all of the proceeds from the two film screenings going to support SchoolBOX’s operations in Nicaragua during the current crisis. If you want to know more about the crisis and how it is affecting SchoolBOX and our partner communities, visit schoolbox.ca/nicaragua.

SchoolBOX has partnered with Equator to build three schools located in the coffee regions of Nicaragua. You can see those classroom projects here, here and here. It is our hope to build the fourth Equator ‘coffee-country’ classroom at Las Nubes, Matagalpa this fall. But in order to sustain our operations until the current unrest and violence is over, we need your help.

We suggest a $25 donation to SchoolBOX at the door.

To attend you must RSVP online by clicking the links in the ‘Event Details’ section below. This will reserve you a seat, and help us estimate how many people to expect. The more the merrier!
