June 2017 – Havergal College students help build Flor de Sacuanjoche classroom
Fifteen students and two teachers from Havergal College arrived in Nicaragua on June 22nd, eager to pitch-in and help SchoolBOX to build the Flor de Sacuanjoche classroom in Chinandega.
The Havergal College students are helping with the early stages of the classroom’s contruction. When complete, the new classroom will serve 2nd and 3rd grade students who currently are forced to share one crumbling and structurally unsound classroom at the school.
The children and parents in the Flor de Sacuanjoche community are thrilled that a new classroom will be built, and appreciated all of the love shown to them by this volunteer group.
